Finally got round to doing an overnight session again. It has been quite some time and I miss them. Chose a place close to home due to possible weather complications and fished above Fisherville Dam in Grafton. Was a great place for a sit down carp fishing session.

  • Great session. I love overnighters.

  • @rehamkram Yeah, I haven't had one in quite some time and figured it was about time to get back out there heh. Looking forward to doing a few more before the warm weather ends. Going to be heading down to Rhode Island this weekend for a 24-36 hour session in hopes of bagging a big 30+mirror. Well as long as the river isn't flooded from some of the rains we've had recently.

  • Do you ever get bothered by the wolves and cayotes then mate ? I'd be on edge all night wouldn't be able to relax. Lovely looking mirrors in there real beauties. keep up the good work

  • @MrPopup2 Not really. We do have coyotes, fox, skunks and fisher cats, as well as the occasional black bear. Most days you never really see or even hear any of them as they prefer to stay well away from people.Though I always expect something, having a couple pounds of boilies around almost begs critters to come looking though lol. I tend to keep my bait well away from the bivvy, and hang my boilies from trees at night, just in case!

  • I gotta get me one of those baiting sticks.

  • @ninelives9999 They are awesome for close to mid range baiting. Won't get the distance of a spod but will create a good size bed of bait for the shorter distances.
