Students are being forced to bear the burden of paying for education more than ever before! Ontario is ranked last for per student funding in Canada. Ontario students face the highest tuition fee hikes. Student debt across canada has surpassed 12 billion! The reaching higher framework for tuition fee increases is over, starting 2010 and the government has promised to review the system but we are tired of not being put first.
Students of Nipissing University, it is time we have our say and demand a new plan for the postsecondary education system, one that is based on access, equity and fairness. DROP FEES! Affordable Education IS a RIGHT!
