This is really good quality. I remember this session as being one of the best on the John Peel Show, esp a song sung by Doris Henderson called (i think) "Restitution", featuring Polly Palmer on vibes. They also performed this when i saw them around the same time - but they never made an album. Is that song on this session? & if so could you post it?

It's the best quality sound I've heard of this session.......I don't know about the 'In Concert' - though there was a radio show of the same name, so there may be some confusion there - however, they definitely did do a "Colour Me Pop" on BBC2; it's long gone in video, though someone out there may have audiotaped it. It was the week after the famous Small Faces' Nut Gone Flake edition....at the end of that show the presenter announces the Eclection as being on the following week.

Yes it was the original lineup, I remember Kerilee Male being in it. Must have been late 68 early 69. There was also a fantastic set by Spooky Tooth in the same series. As you say, they are probably lost forever. So sad.

I do recall the Spooky Tooth prog..it was hard for us kids to get much access to the tv in those days..only one per houshold and my dad would not approve of " the great unwashed" as he called them

Would love to hear the rest. I'm still hoping that a video will surface of the 'In Concert' performance they did for the BBC.
