Has any one used this bastard with a normal guitar not the bass variety?

If valve amps sound better cranked up loud especially if you want to get a bit of grit then is using this for even larger gigs where the amp is mic'd or DI'd a good idea or not? I loved the tone of this when I played it, not sure the reason for it being even louder is all, someone please answer!

love this little toy!

Man....I need this. I love my all tube ampeg, but it's impractical to move around for jams and small gigs.

It's a tube amp, as long as it's transformer coupled (ala most tube amps) it will put out 30 watts at either 4ohm or 8ohm, as long as you are using the right tap!

Je l'ai commandé aujourd'hui, je devrais l'avoir dans 1 semaine

i must ask, is it always going to sound overdriven like that when you turn it up all the way? or can you get a cleaner tone at high volumes witht his amp?

I have UK number 38, it's loud enough for most of the pub gigs we do, even if they're fairly busy and a few people to soak up the sound. Don't have much headroom though, I have to use it right below breakup. It's only a bit quiter than my 150w Trace combo, but it sounds huge, cos of the valves, like the sound is coming from the whole wall rather than just the driver. Lovely sound, and I'm about to put ECC81 valves in the preamp to drive the power amp a bit harder without it breaking up as soon

hi, is it loud enough for medium gigs? is it 30 watts on both 4 ohms and 8 ohms?
If you are getting mic-ed up then its fine. It will go into a lovely warm overdrive when the master is past 12 o clock. We have heard of a few people changing the pre-amp valves around to give more of a clean sound when it's cranked up. I'm not sure if you do get the full power on both outputs. I would imagine its more like 18-20 watts on a 8 ohm load. In the video we had it wired into an 8 ohm 4x10 and it was very loud!!!!
