Finally found it - after lots of searching (had the song but didn't know the singer). This is by far the most superior version of this treasure. It's that rare combination of a brilliant song being sung by the right singer (with attitude) at the right time with the perfect arrangement. It brooks no rivals. Just right for this time of year and the times we are living through. Time for a re-release (but this version only). And only 25000 views? ... That's a travesty!

I've always loved this song, ever since the first time I heard it. No one can sing it like Nancy Griffith, who puts her heart and soul into every song she sings. I find hope in this song and I thank you for that, Nancy- you are blessed with such a talent and you give so much to so many.

No one can put the feeling into a song like Nance does. Just the best on this type of music. Beautiful voice and a beautiful soul, you could not sing this way otherwise. Merrry Christmas, everyone!!
