Jason Flood Airshows
Aerobatic Flight
Hammonton, New Jersey
Saturday October 9, 2010
IN THIS VIDEO, nineteen year old aerobatic pilot Jason Flood invited me out to Hammonton Airport to film him flying his airshow routine in the aerobatic box adjacent to the airport. You'll be witness to Jason flying for nearly half an hour, flying his routine in the first part of the video and the second part consisting of more aerobatics and footage Jason wanted me to get for an upcoming promo video. You will hear him give me some head's up while I film and you will also hear his older brother Joe on the radio acting more or less as a safety observer.
Jason flies a Pitts S1S for his airshow performances as well as in aerobatic competitions, where he regularly places among the top two in standings. You can visit his website at http://www.jasonfloodairshows.com for more information on him and his airshow schedule.
If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
I guess he keeps referring to you Steve.
Wondering if you are still around and filming.

@BrimHawk Yep... I asked him before he went up if he could give me a head's up so I could be ready, in case I took a break. Said breaks didn't happen... probably should have taken them. Either way the whole plan worked out perfectly.
