@wildcat1559 Where I stand, is that I don't want to live in a society where any lout has the implied authority to assault me when I have a NON-PHYSICAL disagreement with someone. The other issue is the training given by the transport authority and the procedures in place to handle such situations in an orderly fashion. To hold up a train-load of passengers over a ticket issue is ludicrous. Move the train on and resolve it at the next stop with appropriate staff waiting. Brainless bureaucrats!

@1:16 the fare dodger says "I FORGOT" (to pay for the ticket)........the cheeky chappie thought he was being cool cursing and acting the clown but he should accept the fact he was WRONG and well done to the ticket inspector and the BIG MAN who threw him off the train. The fare dodger will look back at this video in 20 years and realise what a DICK he was being.

@brianoh99 and the problem with "correct procedure" is that its rarely successful due to the sporadic nature of such an event and also the erratic nature of the offending individual. people who are in this line of work will attest to the countless times where these punks have simply ran off the train and theyre gone, police dont follow it up because its not priority, so whos accountable? the company sucks it up, while these offenders continue to offend? thats the type of justice you stand for.

@brianoh99 yeah but youre missing the point that he DOES have the authority to intervene. or would it be better for the teenager to smash the ticket person over before he took action, absolutely not! he preempted the situation before it got out of hand, and every law abiding citizen should take there hats off to such humanity. people who flout societies conventions need to be dealt with so that they know that theyre not above the law

@wildcat1559 That's what the Nazis said. Quite simply, a citizens arrest is not permissible under a minor (and unproven) possible contravention of a transport authority. The correct procedure was for the train to continue and any possible contravention investigated by the simple procedure of obtaining name and address. To say that the alleged offence warrants a citizens arrest is quite simply ludicrous. Morons like the big Fr need to be stopped now before they are given a licence to offend more.

@brianoh99 yes he does have the authority to do it. he has the authority of all law abiding paying passenger to act on behalf of the rules and policies of any national or local government owned or partially owned business and or asset. that is why it is constitutional that citizens have the authority to make a citizens arrest so it is the same that a citizen can act on behalf of a government enterprise as long as it is for the greater good and is in the interests of other law abiding citizens
