Anyways since I have seen O&O News open Collages for NBC and ABC Owned Stations, but none for CBS Owned Stations so I did just that, so here it is

(I left out WWJ in Detroit since they don't have a full-blown Newscast)

What makes these opens nice is the fact that every CBS station, with the exception of WBZ = KOVR, has a unique music package.

It allows the local affiliate to have a little local flavor and say - and makes it so each station isn't a carbon copy of each other.

That's my biggest critique of the NBC and Fox news opens for some of the major markets, sounding exactly the same and -- especially for NBC - almost looking the same whether it be NBC 10 in Philly or NBC 4 in Washington D.C.

@rickhh1 thats why I like the Grapics for my "Home" Station WBZ in Boston because it shows images of New England in a Modern way

and I do like how the CBS O&O openers are unique in some way

I miss NewsForce (the KTVT music package). Now they have the stupid and cheap-looking graphics-in-a-can.

@NHT1981 Oh, that's right. And I found out that the driver was an old school friend.

@jhshifris1 He was in a snowmobiling accident in Wisconsin and the driver hit a tree. Randy was a passenger and he hit his head on the tree and died there. This happened in January 2008.

the CBS owned-and-operated stations are responsible for airing shows like Kim Possible and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (except KOVR where noted because Sabrina, the Teenage Witch is on KQCA My58 in Sacramento), i'm also wondering if you can upload KFDA's news open from Amarillo, TX (former CBS O&O station)

@Lboy926 That news open is 4 years old and they stopped using the open in 2008.

@zbsx KDKA has also been updated. They are now using the newspackage WCBS used to use.
