Have you ever wondered how individuals with disabilities can be just as productive as their sighted counterparts? Wouldn't it be great if you could hear from folks whose lives have been impacted greatly by the use of assistive technology? Easter Seals Crossroads, in collaboration with Fusework Studios, presents Like I Can. Its purpose is to showcase how people from all walks of life are just as successful as their sighted peers. A blind college student, for example, is able to easily take and review notes using a portable PDA equipped with speech and Braille capabilities. A woman can operate her small business with no assistance. Watch, be inspired, take action!

  • Like, wonderful technology. Even though these folks have seen better days or are just plain hosed, their lives won't be hosed. To the Easter Seals folks, "Way to go, babes!"
