@TheCaliEra difference between brushless and brushed is that the brushless motor has like 4 times more power brushed motor will only push 30mph top speed brushless will do wheelies on 45mph to give you idea how strong it is and brushless motor will push up to 70mph

@motobikeboy- you're mostly right, and good explanation, but that "spindle" is called the "commutator". Just thought I would clarify. :)

Well, unlike the uploader said. with his limited explanation.

A brushed motor has carbon brushes to let the electric current through to a coil of copper wire, that is called a spindle on the inside of the motor and it spins with a magnetic jacket on the outside. a brushless motor, the electric current goes directly to a coil of wires on the outside and the magnet is the spindle on the inside. more efficency/ power.
