This is a video introduction that was run Saturday May 2, 2009 to introduce the new leader of the Liberal Party. He is "said" to be our next Prime Minister. Ignatieff was born in Canada, but educated, taught, and lived in the US for almost 30 years, he was rumoured to be offered a position in the Obama White House, but why be a lacky in the White House when you can run a Country? Look further into this man, I think he has many suprises in store for Canada and the NAU.
He has been quoted saying things like "Us" when refering to the American people, and has written many papers, and given speeches that would suprise many....do your research people.

Born with a golden spoon in his mouth, Ignatieff has always dwelled psychologically among the Bilderbergians the wealthy elite which wants, quietly, to run the global economy for the few.

His life has been that of an observer and a joiner. What he has joined is telling. When the George Bush administration (with Britains Tony Blair) was building the Iraq weapons-of-mass-destruction-lie in order to invade, Ignatieff joined the bad guys. We remember the air was hot with disagreement about invasion, and Ignatieff supported the Bush side arguing to invade Iraq.

Almost worse when, more recently, the argument about Terror and Torture was aflame, Ignatieff not only supported George Bushs so-called policy of soft torture (activity that Barack Obama has since categorically ruled out) but he did so in one of his books that is there for all to read.

Ignatieffs published position in that book is ugly. He has rejected both of those positions since. Fine. But in the Canadian parliament he voted with the Harperites to extend Canadas role in Afghanistan, and he won his nomination in Etobicoke-Lakeshore by a setup what one might describe as unsavoury manipulation.

In the light of all that we have to ask what he will approve of and then live to regret among the Stephen Harper policies he endorses? Having helped wreck Canadian democracy, an apology and retraction from Ignatieff some time in the future will be of little use or comfort.

Winston Churchills basic statement about parliaments still stands: the role of the Opposition is to oppose. Ignatieff has brushed that rule aside in his first weeks as Liberal leader.

Here (in America) Iggy is known as an SPP/NAU proponent. He will one day be your PM and you can bet he will help speed up the implementation of the NAU. And I won't be surprised if he makes it look democratic by holding a (fixed) referendum (just as they did in Europe).

Canadians should really research the people (and their positions) that Iggy has been associating with while living in the USA before voting for this guy.

Fact - Chinese people were not needed and knew nothing about raiiroads - us Americans had already invented and built the railroads and trains in other states (California was late) - stupid whites brought some chinese people from great poverty to help them find gold in California because they would not have to share the gold with them as they would the whites and even blacks(slavery was almost over)

@crazydaysful - Where did you get your history, from a cereal box??? It's a fact that Chinese immigrants provided the labor to built the railroad system in California and hundreds died doing it. Irish immigrants helped build the canal system, like the Erie canal, plus a lot of the original railroad system. Immigrants were cheap labor and it was their sweat & blood that built this country.
