  • Interesting to see so many comments about how much has changed, but a lot hasn't changed at all.

  • @jacobsdaduk I think the main difference is the lack of clutter and traffic.In 1986 the population was about 86000 now it is over 186000 and expected to rise to 207000 by 2012! When I was born in 1950 it was about 56000.No wonder you cant move now.

  • it was great to see the group of runners, doing the same routes that i do with the colchester harriers now.

  • thanks for sharing this , the film shows just how much cleaner it was back then !!! i.e hardly any litter in the road gutters and didnt see any "urban art" .
