As I discovered this was originally a renaissance guitar tabulature, I had to try it on my low-G strung tenor uke.

Not my best playing. I'm not used to tenor, and this one is not the most comfortable one to play...

  • Sounds Excellent Brotha! where can i find "Renaissance style" tabs for the uke like this one you played? Thank you in advance!

  • Just look at the end of Val's video (this video is a video response of Val's video). The original renaissance guitar tab, which I used for this recording, is displayed there.

In the free E-Book "Solo Ukulele für Einsteiger" you can find a renaissance section, just google for it.

  • Sweeeet!!

  • Thanks, Julie :)

  • I think the renaissance guitar was a ukulele with just another name. Beautiful work!

  • Thanks. Yes, the renaissance guitar is not very different from an uke -- even the tone reminds of it a bit ;)

  • Hi Peo! It's the fault of Grégoire, he composed the music so beautifully that it can hardly be played wrong ;)

However I sold the uke already now. It's just not the right stuff for my fingers.

    Regards, Wilfried
