In my opinion this is her best song (period)

i see this about a male prostitute walking around contemplating his life, picking up a customer, and then it ends with him realizing that he's still alone even though he's with a customer and then either the customer is harassing him, or he got a disease or got killed at the end. just me? lol

this song is kinda Cunningham novel.. my fav PJ song so far..

When PJ gets jazzy or soulful she really does give me the goosebumps. In certain respects it's a pity she didn't continue down that road a bit more as her voice is so suited to that. And to think most music 'fans' still remain unaware of her after 20 years..

I am so glad mainstream radio never grabbed onto more than one of her songs and went and ruined it for her true fans! Such musical genius in her writing and an all around musicain. One of the true understated greats of our time.
Love her!!
