Ninja Princess for MSX (1 life clear)

Kurumi-hime was kicked out of her castle by Gyokurozaemon.
She needs to find 5 hidden scroll to open up the secret door to the castle.
and beat the crap out of him.

She can throw shuriken in 8 directions with button A and upward with button B.
She can also use ninjutsu by pressing both buttons.

The game is filled with (gasp!) Ninja and mad monks.
Some ninja have white power up scroll.

There are 5 red scrolls hidden all over the land. (one of them is very tricky to find)
After getting all of them, follow the instruction to open the secret door.
If you don't find all secret scrolls by the end, you will go back to stage 1.

There is also SEGA SG-1000 version which is identical to this game.

Wow. Very nice. It is great to see someone who actually understood what this game was about.

So, in steps 2 and 6, there is some invisible statue that appears when you walk near to it. I didn't get what this did. Could you please explain? Thanks

Even though I lost box and manual, I still remember some details like name of enemy.

Hidden statues are just extra 2000 points.

I'm going to speak my mind about this and I don't care what anybody thinks of it. The Japanese version of this game is vastly superior. It's disgraceful what the West did with this game. There are already even male protagonists in video games and not enough female protagonists. And they had to go and "Westernize" it by removing the female main character and making her male. Fuck the Western version of this game and it's stupid misogyny. And fuck the localizers who did this.

Ninja Princess was repacked for the western market as The Ninja. They are virtually the same game with different sprites.

To me, the MSX version doesn't look that bad at all for it plays like a classic console but I like the Master System better for it's music and graphics. At the end, I remember the ending showed the princess walking at the ninja, but this version seems like it doesn't show it instead it showed Japanese kana and then it said "owari". Do you know what that means?
