This is a Route 66 attraction in Catoosa, OK. It's located just outside of Tulsa.

  • Pretty neat, especially being able to see the second story of the whale.

  • I hear that place was a lot of fun during its heyday back in the '70s. At that time, you could jump off of it, or slide down and swim. They won't let you do that anymore.

  • Hey i live right by there.

  • it was fun in the 90's too, only cuz i lived right next to it and my freinds step dad owned it so i got to swim there

  • A good overview of the whale in it's present state of repair/disrepair.

I can pictue a gaggle of kids in the 70's climbing all over the thing.

  • My friends and I swam here quite a bit in the 70's and climbing up that ladder to dive off into a murky pond has lost some appeal...go figure! I also remember going to Mr. Davis' to see the reptiles. Thanks for the memories! Tom Walje

  • I used to swim there when I was a kid back in the '70s. Oh, what great times.
