Thanks for posting the video, because I missed this segment. Well, I've heard of home field advantage, but now, I'm certain of larger market advantage too :)
Though, it's really no surprise. Seriously, professional sports leagues are increasingly becoming a joke. If the production quality of the local high school leagues were better, I'd rather watch the boys (and girls) play :)
Besides, this is the time to be with the kids, because once they hit the workforce, you'll be lucky to see 'em!

This is not a new phenomenon. We've seen this just as blatantly in the NHL as well. Officiating is driven by marketing concerns and professional sports leagues will deliberately favor larger, more profitable markets than smaller ones. Professional sports leagues make more advertising and merchandising revenue by having their larger market teams with a national fan base succeed than they do by having their smaller markets with only a regional fan base succeed.

There is no such thing as offensive pass interference anymore. Defenders are not really allowed to touch the offensive player and the offensive player is allowed to do almost anything to catch the ball, when he doesn't it's a penalty to try to jar it from him, and if he does catch it and moves 5 yards down field, it's finally legal to touch him.
A certain general manager for a dome team has made a mockery of defenses.

Refs need to start getting fined. I understand the odd missed call, but that 2nd one rightin front of the ref and no flag. Give me a break

Refs have been bad all year. Hoculi should be fired. Should have been fired after the SD debacle. He's an ass.
Jets are the NY team, so they get the preferential treatment. Makes sense to me.
