ok, cover... thanx for sharing... "articulate" & "graceful" by what standard tho? the original poured out of Tonino Baliardo's mind thru his fingers. Tonino plays with a sensitivity & mastery that nobody else can ever capture. Santos heard it and is trying to capture that magic while adding his own flavor. Not better-- never better, but nice... do you know if he writes his own stuff?

Sammies plays better than that Gypsy King group for my ear, I like his articulate and graceful version much more than the other popular ones :)

i like his music!!! i used to listen to them on bourke st for more than 3 hours, when he was still with the 1st partner. the very 1st song they played Gosto De Ti is always the best !!!

I'm a MUSIC fanatic, really... I listen for subtleties and recovery from mistakes that add to the character of a piece -- perfection isn't necessary.... but like I said, it's nice. I'm not sure what there is to analyze about your comment -- it's your opinion, just as my opinion is mine-- and that's the beauty of life! :)
