  • Super cool TP, great pipe selection, I'm surprised I didn't see any Momoyama II on the shelfs, I guess they have it though. Are those sandblasts Tsuge?

  • @dubinthedam

I am not sure about the sandblasts, but I know they carry Tsuge. All o the pipes there are pretty pricey.

  • Great shop. Great video. That pipe selection is one of the best I've seen.

  • @GothamCitySmoker

They are pretty good, but I have been to Iwan & Ries in Chicago and now everything else seems small...that is the danger of going to a tobacco landmark.

  • "Enjoy smoking", nice. Is that a general blessing, or can you actually smoke in there?

    Great tour, thank you.

  • @joffrethegiant

You can smoke in some places, but not here. There are a lot of weird smoking rules. Example: You can smoke on the street, but you can't walk and smoke at the same time.

  • Wow great to see inside the store in Shinjuku - loving your videos Dean. Looks like you live a good life out there in Japan!

  • thats funny cus thats my favorite shop as well!

  • wheres all the dip!?!!?!?

  • Once you got the the pipes a romantic song played haha. Anyway I'm visiting Japan on August and would probably like to step in there at some point.

  • What a shop! I am overwhelmed by the selection of pipes and tobaccos. Far more selection than I have here in S. Spain. I didn't know pipe smoking would be so popular there.

  • Thanks for the tour~ It's nice to have a favorite shop to visit from time to time.

  • Hey there,

Nice shop you got there, with a lot of different pipes and tobaccos, more than I got here in my region

    Cheers, Chris

  • I was in Atsugi, Japan from 92-94 and never once saw a cigar/pipe shop. How did I miss them???

  • I am in southern virginia and that tobacco/pipe selection is better than I have seen in DC or the Hampton Roads area!!!

  • Some tasty looking displays in there--thanks for taking us along!

  • Thank you very much for the tour!

    Cheers,

  • Cool shop! I haven't been there but on my next trip to Japan, I will make a visit. By the way, have you been to 'Nomura Tobacco' at Gotanda? They have a 'hidden' lounge with full of pipes/tobaccos/cigars, and you can even smoke there.

  • Great looking shop. Has bigger selection then any of my local shops!!

    Thanks for the tour!

  • Nice shop nice tour Dean. Thanks for showing us around Dub style. :-) Nice selection of pipes ,tampers and baccy there. Would love to get into them Cubans though wow ! can't get them in the states oh well.

    Salam

  • nice, D - for a small shop, that place was very well stocked with goodies for the tobacco aficianado, eh - from the price you mentioned, you're paying about the same as us/we (?) Canadians pay for tobacco in the Great White North - thanks muchly for letting us see how it's done in Tokyo - bye for now! MM

  • @funkysideup

Yes, they are! Tobacco is a lot more expensive too. A tin of FMOTT is 2500Yen. That's about $25. American!

  • wow...great shop...indeed nice collection!

Just a matter of time before some Japanese pipesmokers will join the community here.
