What incredible poise. And just imagine - he does it without a single extraneous gesture. All those 'pianists' out there should take note - it is possible to play exquisitely without appearing as a circus clown. Mr. Mertanen obviously loves the music and honors the composer.

This is only the first movement. No applause, of course!!
Janne is brilliant - absolutely brilliant - one of the worlds finest Chopin interpreters IMHO.
