RuneScape Clan Citadels + Herald/Clan Capes Commentary

It's July 26, 2011 and Jagex came out with the new Clan citadels, a new customizable Herald cape (for f2p players as well) to compensate for how they updated the Clan capes. They also encourage anyone who experiences any bugs in the animations, especially the older ones, to report them.

Clan Citadels-
Location: Portal in Clan Camp, south of Falador
Requirements: RuneScape membership, 5 clanmates with membership

Clan size and effort will effect the tier of a clan's citadel. There are 7 tiers available at this point.
There are building hotspots in the citadel that require resources, that can be gathered at the skilling hotspots found in the citadels, to build on them.
Maintaining the condition of a citadel requires a weekly upkeep of these sources found in the skilling hotspots. If a citadel is not attended to weekly, it will degrade and possibly drop a tier.

Herald Capes-
Location: Lumbridge, Falador, and Varrock
Requirements: none (it is free and available to f2p players)
Talk to any one of the heralds in Lumbridge, Falador, or Varrock to receive the cape. It is customizable down to color, pattern, and crest.
The more quests and tasks you complete in the area of the particular herald, the more options you have to customize your new cape.

Clan Capes-
They can no longer be worn if the corresponding clan has less than 5 members. The clan still has access to the vexillum, however, the colors and motifs will revert to a default setting until the clan can recruit enough members to meet the 5-clanmate requirement.
