Good adverts from a decade and a half ago and I like the Channel 4 Racing theme tune. I still watch the programme, in fact I watch the key races both flat and National Hunt ranging from the Cheltenham Gold Cup and the 2000 Guineas right through to the St Leger and the Hennessy Gold Cup. The Northumberland Plate is one of the top flat races of the season run annually at Newcastle and it is nicknamed 'The Pitmen's Derby' I wonder why?
