Oh Suzie

Oh Susanna (Suzie Ungerleider) comes back to her hometown for a special concert at the Railway club in Vancouver. She mentioned the Railway club was one of the first places she ever got up on stage to perform. Great nostalgia trip!

I hear you torcman. My theory is, she's resisting pressure to adapt or change her music to sound more like everyone else. And I think maybe just maybe she prefers being somewhat lower key, touring little venues in Europe at her own pace.

I've subscribed to her website newsletter for show updates for the past few years, but I missed any mention of the "Live at the Redeemer" show unfortunately. Thanks for the tip; I'll have to keep an ear out for that one!

A great artist tragically under-promoted. The "live at the redeemer" concert blew me away. Can't buy it anywhere unfortunately. Showcase occasionally broadcasts it but never list it in their listings. And the concert is not listed in her discography.She has an almost non-existent presence on youtube and mediocre representation on the web. If anybody has more videos please post them.
