This (...referring to Closer to Myself) was meant to be one of the track of the first full length release by Forced Evolution. Unfortunately changes in life, direction and priorities made that all plans to release an album were abandoned. Due to lots of difficulties for the band to find a definitive singer from 2009 to 2011 and thus the impossibility to tour on a regular basis the band lost hope and finally split. Progressively each band member then decided to focus on other solo and band projects.
Isn't that ironic that this particular song about hope and finding your own path in life becomes the last official Forced Evolution release.

You might hear some more from the band in the future. Who knows. But 'till then please respect our choices to live other musical adventures.

I wanna thank all musicians, fans and people who made Forced Evolution a hell ride a such a good trip. It was a great adventure. Forced Evolution is where I learnt the most through the first years of my musical career.
