At their peak they were an awesome live band full stop. Whatever you think of their politics, 90s London or 'multiculturalism', ADF had an amazing positive energy, a huge rush that blew your head off and hugged you at the same time.
Lots of bands have tried to combine rock with rap, ragga with dub, bangla-punk with jungle, etc but ADF fused them all for breakfast, scratched their arse and then invented something else. Not their own, it's London music but they did it best.

I'm 58 and still think ADB are a great testament how other cultures can enrich our own, and the music is so innovative. This is great cry from the heart.
