(Video copyright ABC). LOST's Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) repents to Ilana for killing Jacob in an outstanding performance. He then makes a stunning decision about a new path--with great camera work here--in one of my favorite scenes from the show.

  • I love this scene. Its my favorite scene in all 6 seasons. I watch it over and over!! Poor Ben :(

  • This scene makes me cry, he's so damn good. "Because he's the only one that will have me," always makes me sniffle. Brilliant acting!

  • the moment when ben became "human" sends a shiver down my spine when he says "because he is the only one who will have me" one of my favourite lost moments

  • @musomannz he's not a good guy or a bad guy...he just tried to do what he felt was best for the island. That's why i love ben, he is just so sweet and hardcore with his baton when needed...

  • i always cry dude...I want to go and hug him right now...I would take him nistead of locke. Come here ben and i'll let you cry on my shoulder.

  • @crafyer

It's the Ben theme, "Dharmacide" =)

  • Easily one of the top ten scenes from lost. "Because he's the only one that will have me." That line just resonates so much beyond the context of the show.

  • Man i always wondered what the song is called, i know it's probably from the soundtrack, but havent found the title of this piece :(

  • the acting on this show is astounding

  • why does this have so few views

  • one of the unique things about Lost is that it really was a character-driven story more than anything else. not many tv shows with a villain go deeply into the motivations for why they became bad. ben's journey just kept unfolding. first he was a bad guy but then as we got to know him, we saw that he was just a neglected boy underneath who wanted to be loved. most of the time we want the bad guys to stay bad and to hell with their motivations but Lost took a different turn and humanised him.
