Visit Black Rock Beach on Jeju Island. Behind the Hyatt in Jungmoon Resort, take the path to the right. Down the steep wooden stairs along the volcanic rock walls... the rough, wild beach below.
Much less popular than the beach to the right of the hotel. This beach is where I go to be alone, meditate, and listen to the waves. Shiny black volcanic rocks rounded by the ocean waves pounding on them. If you scoop up a bit of the sand, you'll find four distinct colors. Unique!
I use this tape to take me back to the beach, at least in my mind. It's very relaxing to listen to the sound of the ocean waves.
If you happen to visit Jeju Island, South Korea, make your way to the southern tip to Jungmoon Resort and appreciate the beautiful site the Hyatt occupies.
