http://blog.wolfire.com/ David demonstrates some of the new features he added in the last week:

- Separated hotspot scripts from level script
- Added 'displaytext' so hotspots can display messages
- Changed hotspot collision to work precisely with bounding box
- Fixed missing steam app id in installer
- Progress towards Linux alpha
- Script GUI windows fade in and out smoothly
- Awesomium views only display after texture is processed (no garbage)
- Fixed projected shadows on surfaces without baked shadows

  • @etusax While Skyrim's UI might've been designed for consoles, its typeface selection clearly wasn't. Futura Condensed on a 35" TV makes baby Jesus cry.

  • @GHhog No, we buy Skyrim for PC to enjoy the fruits of the robust modding community. We don't buy Skyrim on PC to enjoy a PC-unfriendly interface combined with a console-unfriendly typeface.
