What's a girl to do???

Move to Italy and find my scooter or scooters there? Then I could join an Italian scooter club.

The song is:
"Vespa" by P-1

Fantastic Welsh Corgi Scooter.

  • First have you ever ridden a 2 wheeled vehicle before, if not take the MSF class in your state. Next I might suggest you get a cheap Chinese scooter first, to see if you really use the thing, many get bought and then sit in the garage unused. You can pick up a China scoot for as little as $800 new. Yeah its not a Vespa, but it will get you into the scooter lifestyle... or you will find that it too sits in the garage. You may find you want more power/speed etc and move into motorcycles anyway

  • Great advice. One of my friends got a scooter from China and loves it. Though I think he is trying it out and will be getting a Vespa in a year or so. . .

  • what is the song dear, love the music!

  • Ahh Seattle just north of me about 3 hours.. lol. Seattle would be a good town to buzz around in a scooter.. Driving my van up there was a nightmare. So I just parked it at the motel and walked everywhere. Some nice marine museums and such up there. your husband is fond of you, cant fault him for that. However I would say he should get scooter educated. I should talk I "make" my wife drive a full size(not mini)Van. Of course she wont approve of me getting another motorcycle either. lol

  • He told me yesterday I could get a scooter if he could get a Ducati. I told him we could save a lot of money and get two scooter. Then I would buy a Ducati sticker and put it on his scooter. I don't think he liked my plan. . .

  • I have 2 my 2006 Dual Sport and Wildfire 150 scoot. No major problems with either, paid $900 for the Motorcycle, and $500 for the scoot new in a crate. There ARE good machines from China. It depends on the plant it was made in and the quality control. A scoot will look exactly the same but one will be shit the other decent. Maybe I have just been lucky but both were purchased from a wholesaler I trust BTW the Genuine brand IS really good. Why would I need a shop to fix a scooter ?

  • @kens97sto171 DO NOT GET ANY SCOOTER FROM CHINA!!!! The poor build quality, shoddy materials, fake "ABS" system that simply cuts brake power instead of actually working as ABS and the propencity for exhausts, handlebars and even WHEELS to fall off while driving are a death sentence. Anyone who says China scooters are good are trying to sell you one. STAY AWAY! Far better scooters for cheap like Genuine Buddy 50's, use Honda Metropolitans or Yamaha Vinos. And, any reputable shop won't TOUCH them

  • @oystersfearme

Yep.. the drug of having a lot of money left after buying my scoot... It's funny cause we had a nice ride today, and it was ME on my cheap chinese scoot that had to get a Vespa running. Had to swap my battery into his scoot, He is on his 4th battery due to some electrical problem the dealer cant find.

I am thinking I gave a lot more in the bank after my purchase than you do. I have had decent experiences with mine. Lots of good miles, and no serious issues. And I payed very little money. Sounds like a good deal to me.. unlike spending $4K+ on a high end scoot, that does nothing that mine doesnt do... If your too worried about a Chinese brand then get a Genuine Buddy 125/150 they are about in the middle price wise, and made in Taiwan.

  • @kens97sto171 Are you on drugs?

  • Ditch the husband, he's a douche.

  • If you think classic scooters are only for buzzing and covering a few miles, you are tricked! With my vespa I've covered hoyndrends of miles non-stop, dozens of travels!

This summer i'll travel from Greece to Austria with the vespa!

These machines are something, so the advise of one of the guys here, about you taking lessons, is great! Vespas are not easy to be ridden, and have bad brakes and suspension! But... I love them!

  • I have a yellow 2008 lx50. I used to have a Corgi as well. Great pet.

  • Very nice video.I have an LX 150 and would not trade it for the world.
