Like jackalan88 said "Samoa was German territory from 1899-1914" The germans brought the Chinese to Samoa as slaves because the Germans thought that the samoans were to laid back hence a signifacant number of chinese in samoa. Now samoa has a mixed race of germans and

    chinese as well as english.

  • @CymTickleMyPico Lol,the whole Taiwan thing is still a work in progress. Nothing is set in concrete yet. What is fact however, is that Samoa was German territory from 1899-1914. There has also been migration from China in the last 100 years or so in pursuit of work in the plantations.This is what I was referring to, so do you your research before you jump to conclusions.
