Yes, I have all the necessary rights for this. Now the real question is: do you ask this of all the video covers you watch on YouTube? Even the ones you claim to be are your favorites?

Touché! You got me on that one, gpeleria. I have to confess that I don't. As someone who works for a major music publisher, I am more sensitive to copyright/licensing issues regarding printed music, as opposed to recorded music/videos.
Kudos for getting the proper permission for your arrangement.

Ha! Well, to be honest this brings to light a very valid and timely concern. With the advent of the YouTube age, copyright laws are really becoming insufficient. Also --- and I believe more importantly --- how do we take into consideration the value that is actually added to original tunes by these arrangements and covers? This is a conversation that really has to occur between our artists and our lawmakers very soon.
Also, Ich bin der Welt... is one of my faves too. Devastatingly beautiful!
