The experts seem to enjoy babying their worms. I've been working to toughen mine up and the results have been impressive. I'm impressed anyway, and that's all that really matters.
I liked your video. I've been experimenting with my worms on these freeze nights. I check the temperature of the bedding. Once the temp in the bedding goes from the 60's to the 50's, the worms are still there, but they don't wiggle. I buried their bin in the dirt in an old green house. This has seemed to work out the best for them. So far, whether warm or cold, the bedding temp stays within 50 to 68 degrees. Before this location, I was loosing a few of them.
I noticed the same thing. The professional info.sometimes will scare you to own worms. Then you find out when your worms live to over a hundred degrees, and below freezing, you don't wind up losing your worms. At least not redworms! And wetter than a wrung out sponge,is not really a must!He He! Keep making worm videos Wormfarmergeorge!
I started worm bins about 5 months ago and it does seem like one would have to really screw things up for it not to work and so far mine have been fine. Good luck keep up on the videos.
Looks to me like you have a great garden, good way to get rid of the household rubbish.Good vid man.
