I was there, it was crazy... this shows the best of it... they ran out of food, and water was scarce which was a good thing cause there weren't many toilets - peeps were bathing in the river, we walked 20 mi up the mt (rode on the bumpers on the way down, a motorcycle group took over "policing" the place and sponsored the wet T-shirt contests, Scruggs and Flatt flew in a played, we camped at a school in town (safer ;-), rumor was a biker killed a guy over a "chick"... stuff like that. Somewhere along the road home, we stopped at this little store cause no one could drive, (Safely) thought we were either still under the influence of Moonshine or ludes or whatever? Went in to be greated by some hillbilly telling us that we were all nuts to be driving around in a hurricane Belle. We agreed and took off, knowing now we were more sober then we thought

Hurricane Belle was her name and was almost as powerful as the Music enjoyed @ STOMPIN 76

I was there and have been looking for memorabelia the last few years to share with my kids. This video is great, and boy does it bring back memories and flashbacks, LOL. Great music, people, atmosphere oh yeah the moonshine wasn't bad either.

I thought it went on for five days though, as we showed up early and stayed late. Like 12 of us drove there in a 51 ford econoline from boston, on the way back home with the 8 track blasting music thru the pioneers attempting to drown (Continued)
