Pixie Hollow was cancelled

@GavinJ37 trust me they need two dumbos.I have seen that line get to 2 hours long! and the other rides are from no wait to 40 minutes, its called supply and demand. also, i babysit a lot of kids and they love the old disney classics just as much as the pixar ones. kids will be caught up in the thrill of the moment with the themeing and details of the extension, and the new rides, and it will attract the older generations that grew up with these movies. It's going to be epic!

Great video! Does anyone know when the Great Goofni will open? I read it will in February, but nothing recently dated about it. I am going to WDW middle of March, Dumbo will be open but will the Great Goofini?

@soraali I'm pretty sure they have something like that.

This is going to be a fucking disaster. Most of todays kids have probably never heard of Dumbo or Snow white and the seven dwarves. And little mermaid wasn't even that big of a film. They are basing these rides on out-dated concepts. Dont get me wrong, I would love these rides..but my point is, they won't last long. They unfortunately will be replaced with something from the Pixar lot.

@GavinJ37 i gotta disagree. the Dumbo ride was consistantly one of the most popular rides for small kids in all of Disney World. This new version of it is just doubling it so parents wont have to wait as long and itll be inside so they wont have to wait out in the sun. Snow White is still to this day the 10th highest grossing film of all time; the story is told all the time and this coaster is a way to bring it back to the forefront.

@GavinJ37 also Little Mermaid was a big movie, its made over $210,000,000 worldwide and won 2 Oscars. Plus all of the movies that are being featured in this expansion are being re-released in 3D for the new generations to see. I agree with you that Pixar movies will probably see more incorporation into WDW as we go on, but i dont think that they will get in the way of this particular expansion.

Wow, 2013? I was there late March and I didnt see anything saying 2013. All signs had a 2012 date to them that I saw. Either way progress seems to be going better than anticipated so this might all get done sooner rather than later....

@DoughBoi360 Yeah the different parts will start opening in 2012 and then everything will be completely open by 2013. they're staggering it so they dont have to wait til everything is all done to start unveiling new stuff.
