TRA - Mountain Caves Relic #1

The only relic in the Peru level Mountain Caves of the Tomb Raider Anniversary game.

NOTES: Once you jump towards the bar, immediately turn the camera about 180 degrees (half-turn) and press forward and jump, so that Lara will jump before the bar turns around.
To get back down, drop down of the long side of the ledge.
THIS ONLY WORKS WHEN THE GATE DOORS ARE OPEN. So be sure to complete the whole gate puzzle thing before trying this. ;)

i did all that but that relic isn't there and i haven't gotten it before

Are you sure? Try hitting Esc (assuming you have the PC version) and then select Level statistics.. What is the number on artifacts there?

i have the wii version and its hidden in a wall on that version and theres a glitch and i cant use my pick-ax so i contacted the eidos company about it and they said they would fix it so thats pretty much what i am doing about. and thanks for the advice

I have the wii version too and it wont let me use the pick-axe D:

I did all of that but the relic isnt there and I ha ve not gotten it. I checked my Level Stats. and it said RELICS: 0/1 D:

oh god im an idiot too.i didnt notice the doors wer open and i started all over again cos i thought that that was wrong!ive finished the game so i had to!!!

Alright, well. I find it easier to have the pole in front of you and Lara behind there, so that she basically jumps against you. So then, when you hit the backwards key, keep it down even when she grabs the bar and immediately press jump again and she should grab the proper ledge. :)
