EDIT: Thanks for the comments. Plants on the far left are string bamboo.

I'm a beginner with plants. I got a CO2, 10,000k, 50/50, and special substrate. Any suggestions?

  • Damn I thought the song was Immortal Technique.

  • Beautiful Tank!

  • Beautifull tank! I would like to set up something like this :) can you perhaps tell me how you clean it and when? like once a week?

thanks so much <3 amazing tank!

  • @ZeraxCampai Any time. I have had java moss mistaken for christman moss in the past. It is possible that your amano did like to eat it. Otos will do an excellent job of cleaning the algae off, but only if your tank is really stable because they can be a bit sensative. If they run out of algae just give them some high qualitey algae wafers or blanched zuccini

  • @TheNakerz5 hehe, thx, but im 100% its javamoss unless my vendor got it wrong.

A thing i noticedt hough, was when my last Amano shrimp finnaly got old and died a week ago, it started growing abit from the old places ive tryed to put it in, could be that the little bugger had developed a taste for it?

Now i just need to find an alternative to get rid of my algae wich my Amanos did an excellent job at.

  • I am very much impressed with the driftwood piece.....could you tell me where you were able to find it? I have been looking for a centerpiece similar to it, but so far, no luck. Your tank is beautiful!

    Barbara

  • @ZeraxCampai Neglect it? I have had it grow in basically everything from a bucket with a few inches of old water in the bottom to my 5g high tech planted tank. Maybe try neglecting it for a while? Are you sure it isn't christmas moss? It looks similar but is heaps harder to grow..

  • @TheNakerz5 So funny, i hear evryone say that, yet it never wants to grow in my tank, despite good light, fertiliser, Co2 and Ph conditions... any suggestions on what I do wrong? :)

    Thansks in advance.

  • Where can I get this beautiful song?!
