  • I love carlock's kick

  • the controversy builds................you can't compare Rudder with Steely Dan because they are two totally different musical entities. I buy and listen to anything Keith Carlock is on because he's an incredible drummer. that's how I get turned on to great music that I might not have otherwise known about.

  • I can't believe the cocksuckers' comments before me..... first off, it's a live recording so take that into account when it comes to the sound. secondly if you want to listen to steely dan, go for it, they're great... but if you want to hear people experimenting listen to all of Keith's projects... and as for a "waste", there's no waste... never any waste when experimenting. If you find this too challenging then stick to the easy listening channels, take out you falsees and eat your puree.

  • ha. "much rather listen to steely dan" .. ha.

  • Yeah, great musicians, I'm sure! But this sounds like a really tight garage band. The song goes nowhere. It sounds like a really bad song for a video game or something. Boring. I'm not trying to be negative, but c'mon! This is shit music! I'd much rather hear Keith play with Steely Dan. This is just a waste of time. Get a song writer or something. Get someone with creativity to write some good songs. This is well-played crap. The best musicians playing complete crap. What a waste.

  • great musians! mic the drums better, they sound too dry, some echo or reverb.

  • this is really good

  • Yes! These guys are the best. Check out their disc - big, fat sound.
