jacksonville house fire 12..27.2010-83.AVI

Fire burned down a Bartram Springs home located off Racetrack Rd & US1 South of Jacksonville on December 27th, 2010. Comments include that:

1. Nearest fire dept. is over 20 minutes away, so any house fire in our area will most likely burn down.

2. Insurance companies don't want to insure these homes because of #1. They are 'taking a big risk' by insuring them.

3. Possible cause of fire was the 'furnace' on the second floor (you can see the fire break through the roof in the center of the house, supposedly where the furnace was located?).

From across the street, I could feel the heat from this giant fire. Evidently the heat was so great that it also 'blew out' the next store neighbors windows.
