I always use brush no.8 for base and for the flowers no.4

did u put a small blob of clear acrylic in the middle of the flower before you placed your rhinestone? is that better than using glue?

Yes, it's a small blob of acrylic because when you use glue, sometimes it will be white around the rhinestone. But put a very little blob of clear acrylic!
