Ok, I hate the quality of my webcam movies, but it is what I bought and what I am stuck with. Sorry. Oh, and my attempt to fit in picture of me for the video image failed this time... argh!

Also, if I sound a bit slurry it is because it is after midnight when I did the video and I had drank a full glass of wine! :)

  • Hey you even made a nail sound fun :) , If you can you might try to pick older historic areas to find some neat stuff~ fun is the real treasure..& wear gloves:)

  • I have bought some new gloves. :) I wore holes through my gardening ones, LOL. I just need to find the time to get out. There are some old homesteads in the national forest near us that I really want to get to.

  • took me one day to find my first coin ever ever and it was'nt even real need help finding places in charlotte MI to coin shoot please reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So do you still hunt? I know this video is over 2 years old... just wondering if you still hunt! Thanks for posting!

  • Ann go out and buy a metal detector that has atleast manual ground balance built into it so you can reject the ground signals because that the biggest thing you will ever detect

  • we live on a gold mine and all we ever find our nails from the beams that held the rafters up we hope we catch something they forgot though

  • annmackin _ Sound fun, be careful, if you can get pemission unless state ground or city, then just be dicrete, laws vary.

Check corners, old porces, potential close by hiding spots a resident might have used, or long lasting stuctur bases, even older trees that seem unique, I used to run the stone walls too, people used to not use banks, and cashes may be found, remember OLD coins could be worth surprising amounts in good shape.

    Have fun:)

  • Good luck in searching.

My detector paid for itself 5 times over,

alot of stories in this hobby, and it is actually history we are searching for , events of lost items

  • Oh you are making me jealous! :) I KNOW I can do better than I have if the ground didn't require me to chisel through it! I am looking at about 3-4 months wait!

  • took my 250 out today found 36 clad coins and 2 silver ones--1934 quarter & 1964 dime.

as you can see I am a coinshooter( hunt for old coins)

but will take anything of interest--found a 1933 Ford V-8 add token last week & my friend got a ring and 1956 dog tag.
