07/02/2010 - Brockton MA firefighters worked at this two alarm blaze at Box-2123 for 1048-1054 Main Street around 2100 hours. Firefighters had heavy fire in the cockloft area of a one-story commercial building, approximately 100' x 75'. The building was home to several stores, including a print shop and furniture store. Shortly after companies arrived, all companies were ordered out and a second alarm was transmitted. All of Brockton's fire apparatus responded to the scene to assist. An additional engine and additional truck were used over the second alarm. A ladder pipe and several hand lines were used on all sides of the building. The fire burned well into the night. Around 1500 hours the following day the last engine company left the scene, after it was knocked down and the property was secured. No injuries were reported. ©2010 NEFirePhoto.com
