To apply the polarisation adjustment amount, turn the entire dish by a calculated amount. Positive adjustment amount is clockwise, as viewed from behind the dish, applicable for satellites to the south west as seen from the northern hemisphere..

While the feed support arm is at the botton, near the ground, the Hughes Universal LNB connector should be sideways. This is Horizontal polariation name starting position.

If you want Vertical polarisation, go behind the dish, loosen the four polariation bolts and turn the whole dish 90 deg so that the feed support arm is at one side. This is vertical name starting position.

The setting up process for the polariation is completely wrong and will make you cause and suffer from cross-pol interference.

The LNB and Transmit BUC assembly should be set in the yokes so that the fat lump on the feed throat is towards the feed support arm. The 505 on the feed throat and the single tick mark on the adaptor flange should be directly away from the feed support arm.
