  • I actually have an idea for a movie series called : Battle of the Ocean. And the main villain is a jellyfish.

  • In typical MonsterQuest fashion, they never see a namora or box jellyfish yet they are claiming that they are overpopulating the ocean. Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.

  • For those claiming this show is lame, I suggest two things: 1) don't watch it, or 2) realize before watching an episode that the teams don't always find what they're looking for, and to instead be fascinated by the science behind the animals and the research being done to find them. The historical facts and sightings alone are interesting enough. If the teams did find what they were looking for, you would hear about it on more than just a TV episode. Just be happy that some people are searching.

  • I did watch the first parts. That wasn't the Monster Quest team doing the battling. How can the ocean be overpopulated with these things and the Monster Quest team can't find a one of them?

  • @Malorie001 You must not have watched the first 3 parts of this episode where they show the Japanese fisherman battling with them.

  • This show is so full of shit but so hard to turn off! This Dale fella sounds like the biggest donkey... EVER! You want box jellyfish and they say they sleep at night, Come up to Port Douglas, Cairns etc... in summer and watch them herd up fish around the jetty lights and you can pick them up by their bells and Dale can rub them on his balls!

  • jellyfish venom probably has some good medical compounds but it's so hard to extract the bloody venom, plus the most dangerous jelly would have to be the irukadji cos jellyfish nets don't effect them cos they are so small and the venom is as potent as the box jelly

  • OMG! That's a big ray!

  • That spotted jelly was actually beautiful...
