Just built my first heli (Trex) and this is about my 3rd battery. Still having problems holding it still, as you can see.

  • Headspeed is way too low and you're bobbing because of the funky effects of changing throttle an pitch simultaneously. Disregard the manual's recommendations for the throttle curve in normal mode. Instead, go with 0%, 85%, 90%, 90%, 90%. Your pitch curve should be set to 45%, 47.5%, 50%, 62.5%, 75% (Where 100% corresponds to 10 deg. of positive pich, and 50% is 0 degrees).

  • Thanks Monodoman, will try that when I get home today. Cheers, Kevin
