  • Very disturbing to see an endangered Asian elephant forced to perform tricks for stupid people who want to watch. The trainer had a bullhook in his hand. The bullhook is used to make the elephant perform. The elephant knows he will get hit all over his body and gouged in the ears if he does not perform! Disgusting circus. Too bad the elephant doesn't get the chance to kick the trainer by the head out onto the crowd.

Help the endangered Asian elephants, boycott circuses with animals.

  • [SARCASIM] Not to badly, they actually like being chained in one spot and zapped with electric prods. [/SARCASIM]

  • circusboy90201 obviously works for a circus and is full of empty arguments with out a shred of evidence to show these animals weren't abused while training took place. There are truly evil reason why the public cannot see circus animal quarters 'behind the curtain', but I have. The circus is a dying thing and videos like the one with Tim Frisco abusing animals will help end this ignorant and poor excuse for entertainment.

  • Who is this circusboy90210 loser? Is he generally saying that no one on here has witnessed elephant abuse first hand? He obviously has the IQ of a box of rocks. Anyone here can go to YouTube & watch video footage of elephants being tortured until they lose their bladder & bowels. Type in "Tim Francisco" in the YouTube search box...that bastard was the ringleader of elephant abuse. I'd like to use a little "positive reinforcement" on our buddy, "circusboy!" And I'll bet that handle fits him well!

  • It's an absolute atrocity...an abomination that this is allowed. And let me assure you, zoos are no better. You just watched a few minutes in the life of an animal...look up the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, click on the 'Our Elephants" link at the top of the main page, scroll down and choose the story about "Sissy." You won't believe what you read..and there is plenty of written documentation to prove it all!

  • I understand what you saying but you would never see a wild animal, in the wild kicking a ball? For them tricks they have to be taught and taught through the animal been beaten.

  • all animal exploitation is an abomination.they are not ours wear, eat, experiment on or entertain us stupid ignorant humans.

  • Poor poor animals. How can parents bring their children to watch this stupidity and cruelty to animals?

  • @zardoxer alll of this is in your opinion. positive reinforcement is used in majority of cases. please stop making conjecture on subjects you have no direct knowledge in. your statments are purely speculation. you have never actually spent any time around circuses and have no real way of knowing anything. please stop spreading lies . man is at the top of the animal kingdom whatever we do is natural. don't give me this in the wild bs. if we caputre and start to breed in captivity this is natur

  • @circusboy90210 Baby elephants born in breeding farms are torn from their mothers, tied with ropes, and kept in isolation until they learn to fear their trainers.

Animals used in circuses live a dismal life of domination, confinement, and violent training. It is standard practice to beat, shock, and whip them to make them perform ridiculous tricks that they cannot comprehend.

  • @circusboy90210

Circuses portray a distorted view of wildlife.Laws protecting animals in traveling shows are inadequate and poorly enforced. The Animal Welfare Act establishes only minimum guidelines and even these meager standards are often ignored.

Most elephants used by circuses were captured in the wild. Once removed from their families and natural habitat, their lives consist of little more than chains and intimidation.
