@weirdguy75 i know he wanted new musicians and a new sound he only retained Davey Johnstone which was ok but without the three of them Johnstone the late great Dee Murray and Nigel Olsson harmonies and nigels signature sound and style and Dees lyrical bass playing style elton really took a nose dive on musical consistancy

@dadadruma why did he fire them? I know after this tour he took a break then worked with some other musicians until 84 when the original band played at Wembley. But why did he fire them in the first place?

is there any footage of nigel davey and dee backing elton on this track i know that elton fired dee and nigel right before the tour for this album
