Due to speculation that it was "too tall and too close to the road", we had to cut down our beloved pine tree.

I'm willing to bet that the the tree was there before the road... which should be removed?... IMHO the tree didn't grow to close to the road, They built the road to close to the tree.. It's always kinda sad to see such an old tree felled..

That gigantic tree looked like a marvel of nature, what a shame to bring that down... They should have moved the road instead. Was this as tall or thick as a redwood tree?
