This simulation of a chain was made in Blender 2.49a. There are no joints used, only pure rigid body physics.
In case you are wondering about the rendering, I used-
-1280X720 rendering size
-ambient occlusion (default settings)
-Blender sky background (default settings)
-motion blur (16 subsamples, 0.75 fra)
Is this all through the physics engine. Wow that's great

Thanks! Hopefully I will be stricken with some artistic talent, so I can make some actual animations sometime soon. As of now, I can use the tools I have well enough, but I haven't a clue what to do with them.
