@FFChopinMan in other words its on the FRSM syllabus list, so its the hardest it gets in the associated board standards.

@jinfiesto I thought the same about this piece. After seeing the music I thought it was incredibly difficult, still, I jumped into it predicting disaster. To my surprise, I can now play it pretty well, yet I cant say the same about the impromptu. (I can play it but I'm just not happy with it)
I'm not sure whether people overrate the difficulty of this piece (like I did) or if it depends on the pianist
Are you on the opposite end? Do you find playing the impromptu easier than playing this lied?

@AvaPozen This piece is exponentially more difficult than the fantasie impromptu. The fantasie impromptu is cake comparatively.

my goodness, you perform it perfectly... great job! I lvoe this piece, especially this arrangement that Liszt made.... and I will repeat this again, perfect performance.

How difficult is this peice?

I would say it's quite tricky - the rhythm of the soprano line is distorted in order to fit the hand and the leaps in opposite directions are tough.
