@MetaReaLizard Maybe moment being but if politicians keep ignoring the problems with Europe a bigger more diverse and sophisticated UKIP will emerge. More professionals will be attracted to UKIP and more suitable candidates will appear. To be honest though the main candidates of UKIP are from much more diverse backgrounds and employment than the "political class" cabinet we have in place now. So I don't think they would be all that terrible.

Well, I must say the 'intellectual' argument for creating the eurozone is turning out to be a bit of a balls up. I wonder, if you have a sound 'intellectual' argument for removing democracy, does that make it right?

@angel2901 Again you are attacking a straw man and completely miss the point. Of course the world buys German goods because they are excellent. I drive a German car because your country makes bloody good products FOR THE PRICE. It is a PRODUCTIVE economy as I stated earlier. So how on earth does the economies of the south compete? go to mpettis . com and have a look at "Germany must do it, not China" , it's a good article and will explain better what I am getting at.
